Krishna in green

this is Radha-Krishna in Their green forest outfit. They have around 35 outfits so They never wear the same one twice in a over a month. All the outfits are handmade in India with delicate embroidery, jari work, pearls, sequins etc. This makes it a very personal way for us to reciprocate with God (as I understand Him), by Dressing and decorating Him etc.

it all started here with the blue tufted lounges at the Ivy in Sydney!

i have noticed a resurgence here in tufted furniture which is basically buttoned and bumpy and also the use of suitcases or trunks as interior furnishing, this has been around OS for a while but only hit our shores lately, we are a bit slow here!

pomegranate

pomegranate is my favorite fruit, i use it a lot in making sweets for my cafe. I make a uniquely rich and syrupy sauce by cooking down the seeds with equal amounts of water and sugar. This results in a sweet and slightly sour richly hued syrup that is amazing on cheesecakes, ice creams, pancakes etc..

this was my present from my hubby but in white, the shadows it casts is amazing! even though its the 14th today my blogger says its 13th so ignore that. this lamp from England is the marble lamp,felt designed like a jellyfish.

usually I refuse to follow anything manufactured by the card industry but i make an exception for valentines day as i am a sucker for romance and it so happens that my husband and i met on valentines 16 years ago!

iam in love with all white interiors, i have done the complete 360, i have painted my lounge and kitchen vivid white (more beachy). i used to like bright, bold colours on my walls, not anymore. good thing painting is the easiest and cheapest way to update an interior. check out these gorgeous white interiors..
