my favourite spot

This is my favorite spot in my house, it's the front deck. I specially love the hanging pod chair. I meditate on prayer beads for 2 hours everyday as part of my religious practice and this is where I do most of it, usually at sunrise and sunset.

Screen idea

I got an idea for a screen from this at the Sofitel hotel in Brisbane, since ready made ones are too expensive(one quote was 15,000$), I would like to design my own with this inspiration.I like the chains at the back as well.

a little corner of my world

this little corner of my dining room pretty much sums me up, the Chinese box for my love of color and pattern, the kartell bourgie light and the black and blum candle holder for my love of good design, the Tibetan prayer bell and statue of Krishna(passed on by my grandmother) for my religious side and of course the peacock feather.

Rangoli art

I finished my latest piece of art work. I call it rangoli art as it echoes the themes of rangoli which include vibrant colours and designs of flowers, mandalas, lines, dots and of course I had to add paisleys to mine. I sell them through my cafe, although I only do them very sporadically, I have sold 9 of them.
